Disability Services Day at the Capitol

Disability Services Day at the Capitol is Minnesota’s largest advocacy rally focused on protecting and strengthening services for people with disabilities. The event brings together individuals with disabilities, direct support professionals, providers, family members, and advocates from across the state.

The 2026 focus includes:

  • Protecting and strengthening disability services

  • Supporting the workforce that provides essential services

  • Advancing policies that promote independence and community inclusion

The day features a large rally in the Capitol Rotunda, followed by optional coordinated legislative meetings. Participants may attend the rally, meet with legislators (must sign up to do so), or take part in both opportunities.
