TIPS for Caregivers

Put your name on a list of all group homes of interest in your area up to 2-3 years in advance. Due to labor shortage and housing codes restrictions in some cities, it’s difficult to get into a group home. In Melissa’s case, it took 3 years before she was able to get placement for her son.
